Woodworking began with an appreciation for the beauty and design of wood furniture when I was a kid. I would always try to imagine how things were made and marveled at the unbelievable variety of wood species both plain and elegant and also the odd and exotic. That interest and an itch to figure out how to make things myself led to many years of trial and error learning of how to make wood become what I wanted it to become. No matter how many projects I have worked on and how many things I have made over the years, the magic that occurs when I finally stop sanding a piece and apply that first coat of finish is still just as exciting as the first time. I do it because I love it and hopefully you will see and feel that dedication when you spend a minute with something I’ve made.
